ppl, Awaz were to break up two years ago. I know Haroon Rashid personally, and they've had rifts many many times. They got the long-haired drummer only a few weeks before they release the "Fraudz" album.
They had broken up amongst themselves and in spirit long ago. They only made it ** official** a few months back. The reason they continued to "appear together in the public eye" was so that they could finish all their assigned concerts and commitment to sponsors. Once they were over it, they made the long-standing thing public.

What actually happened was Fakhir Mahmood was talking to this diehard fan of his...16 year old girlie worlie from clifton....and the girlie was using her daddys mobyle phone....and just as they were about to enter a romantic moment in their conversation, static kicked in, the signal started fading on the girlies mobyle fone, and thats when Fakhir Mahmood said.."Awaaz is breaking up my dear....ooncha bolo". and the little girlie freaked out on that...dropped the phone, and ran off telling all her friends..."awaaz is breaking up, awaaz is breaking up!!!"
