Is it true that Matsuisan has been banned? If so it’s a sad day for gupshup. It once and for all will prove that all the lip service about religious tolerance and true debate is just lip service. And what’s worse it makes the place far less interesting where the brainwashed will stroke each other without restrain and one of the few intelligent members will have been lost.

Has the Matsui ban been reversed or not?
Banned members can still use the PM facility to sort out banning issues with the Admin if they so desire.
In this case it's not the banned member that lost but the GS membership as a whole. So it is upto us and raise the issue and see if some reason will seep in. When you tolerate fundamentalist rhetoric and mullacratic gobbledigook (sp!) in the name of religious discourse and political debate, banning matsui and co is hypocricy bordering on lying to oneself. Let's infuse some fun and intellect here.
Tom, we're very clear about what will be tolerated on Gupshup, mocking other's religious beliefs isn't on the list. I'm sure we can all carry on having a lot of 'intellectual fun' without it.
I wish what you say ^ is reality but sadly it is not. Go look at all the mocking being done non-islam religions. You just can't admit it.
The rules are clear. If you feel they are not being implemented fairly, please feel free to PM the forum mods or Admin with examples of what you consider mocking of non-islam religions and we will attend to it.
