i dont know if i am posting this in the right topic
well my question is tht these baba kinda of people we have around like
people go to them and ask them stuff like if someone have done magic on me or my family
and you can also ask them about the future and they tell u the right thing
i dont believe in them at all but my mum in law believe in them which i know it is not right but now i have come to a point tht these people tell the truth coz these people told my mum in law couple of things which turned out to be true one is tht they said tht my husband will get a job in england even though it was hard to get the job but he got it Allah ka sukkar hai and second thing they said my mum in law will get 5 yrs visa and she got it and like tht many other things she asked him have come true…so i am all confussed are these people really true anyone beleive in them…?

Lady Allah SWT knows about your future...not some red bearded fiesty mullah smoking puff and lots of cheap atar!

Women mostly believe in this kind of stuff. Women are more superstitious than men! Fact!

These people give broad answers which can be made to fit to whatever answer you subconsciously want to hear!!

^ lolz asking the future is haram so please dont get involved in such practises they may tell the truth but allah SWT knows best

No they can't. I remember another thread like this in General few days back. I'll post what I posted there.

There are many ahadith which prohibit you to go to these people, even if you don't believe what they say or just go for "fun". Allah has the knowledge of future. They, the so-called Babas, have to wake up early in the morning, take their Boriya bistra, and go to a park nearby (and get hit by raiRhees while walking) and they are gonna tell the future who cannot even tell the kinda sabzi being cooked in their house??

If you must ask, ask Allah. Why go to peers, or babas or mazaars asking for help when you know Allah is the one who provides for you when you are in womb, and then he is the one who feeds you later on in life and then to him is the ultimate return.

dont know where i heard this story....

this dude went to a fortune teller/ baba type of person, and got his fortune told. After listening to his fortune, he puched the fortune teller really hard in the face. Shocked, the fortune teller asked him why he puched him? the person replied by saying "u dont know whats about to befall u and you prcolain to know my future" :)

there is a big diff in the type of ppl who larent stuff from haroot and maroot versus your avg sadhu pir types.

We just pelt a baba with chaliyan when we were in college...he didnt see those coming! eventually he just stopped sittng there!

well the things he told my mum in law turn out to be quiet true in front of me so i dont know wot kinda magic do they have tht they tell the truth its all confussing i know we shouldnt beleive in them as it is haram
and they also tell my mum in law to read some verse from the Quran and ur work will be done

The stuff these guy talk about are very broad...so yeh prob it did fit your mum...a bit like star signs!!!

The common conception of these babez is that they have in their influence, jinns. whom they control to gt various information!
