Now I know why I am growing a third eye on the back of head and a couple of horns on my forehead. 
I have to stop storing food in plastic container.

**i think it was last year when Canadian Government sent out advisory telling people NOT to reuse plastic water bottles and other containers and a few weeks later they advised again against the use of plastic containers over a long period of time as the coating comes off exposing the toxic material.
It was just an advisory and NOT a warning so most people still use plastic containers but do NOT refill/reuse water bottles. i would be on the side of caution and avoid using them until some research shows something to the contrary :)**

moved over to pyrex a while back. a lot heavier than plastic but you get used to it.

Use bpa free containers and bottles and you'll be fine.

A lot of the new plastic containers are bpa-free nowadays anyways.
I still use them to store food ,I just try not to heat food in them.

i don't use plastic for warm food at all....i use plastic only for freezing purposes.
