Is it Safe to put Vaseline on your Face?

I love vaseline, and my skin got so dry recently, I was wondering if it would be safe to put vaseline on my face and go to sleep to get rid of the dryness…is it okay?

LOL....Vaseline is my favorite moisturizer! It works better than every other expensive brands I've tried. I use it several times a week...put it on my face at night, by morning by skin has absorbed it and feels GREAT. Been doing it for almost a year and no issues. If you can apply it on other parts of your body....not sure why it would be unsafe to apply it on face.

my only concern was that since vaseline is so thick, that it clogs your pores, causing breakouts

I do that sometimes...but I mix it with my normal face cream and then apply it...and it is sooooooooo good!! I actually do that with my whole body...i mix the jelly with body cream.

i used to go to a beauty parlor, and they used Vaseline to massage face. i always felt my skin softer and shinier after that massage.
but i never tried to use it as a moisturizer.

there is no harm in using vaseline on face ....

u can substitute vaseline wid milk cream too.....apply in night and u will see the softskiln in the morning...in just one day

Put-on vaseline when your face is slightly damp.. it's safe!
