Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

Re: Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

SyedAbduallah

Well, it is right for a Muslim to support Hezbollah, though Munafiqs are always against Muslims and try to create discord amongst Muslims.

As for Shia, they have different opinion regarding Khalafat but then people had differences regarding Khalafat even during the time of Khalafah-e-Rashadeen, so what difference does it make? I consider those who talk hate and consider ‘Muslim freedom fighters (Hezbollah or any other Muslim freedom fighters)’ as ‘terror group’ and divide Islam in the name of Shia/Sunni, like ‘Sheikh Abdullah bin Jabreen’ are Munafiqs, biggest fitna in Islam, agent of kuffar and are certainly not Muslims (neither they deserve any respect).

There is big lies here as from most news, it seems that some groups that are not Muslims but call themselves Muslims are killing Shias, creating sectarian violence in which Sunnis are also getting engulfed.

Re: Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

this is very bad those who think that it is against the islamice rule and regulation to support hizbollah because he is sheia ...... yes this is right if he is sheia but he is not killing muslim peoples and never say that he is killing the muslim if u think so that show us the proof for this giving only giving fatwa on such crucial time when our muslim poeple need our help and moral support we should go for their help in the shape of writing letters to them show their support instead of this u r talking about the fatwa it means u and meanand selfish president bush are traving in the same board in my point of u this is a time to do something give our enemy muslims enemy give them tremendiouse surprise not to do differntiate among sheia and suni in lebonan and other country thosand of suni sheia living together peacefully without considering this sort of thing then who u suppose to do so when they not doing so well may allah help those who r sacrifies their life to safe the innocent lebanese

What about those who cuss the Prophet's best friends...and about whom the Quran says.."Only the kuffar will be displeased with the Companions."

That being said, I still do believe that one should support the Hizbullah against the Israelis in the war.
Does cussing prophet (SAW) best friends can make a person Kafir?

As for your this statement
Quran says.."Only the kuffar will be displeased with the Companions."
can you quote ayah of Quran? Actually Quran says something that 'Allah is pleased with them'.

Regardless, Islam has not changed after the death of Prophet (SAW) and thus, all that applies to Muslims of today applies to Muslims at the time of Prophet (SAW) and certainly to all Muslims especially after the death of Prophet (SAW), that includes Sahabas, as Islam could not have changed after the death of Prophet (SAW). **

Thus, criteria of judgment for a Muslim become same for those living after the death of prophet (SAW) (that includes Sahabas) and Muslims of toady. [Note: What 'Sahabas' use to do is our guidance].**

** We all know that many Sahabas were displeased with other Sahabas and fought each other and killed each other in battles. Around 10,000 Sahabas got killed by other Sahabas in Jang-e-Jamal and around 100,000 Muslims, many Sahabas got killed in Siffin by other Muslims, including many Sahabas.
**

Thus, many Sahabas were not just cussing each other but they were so displeased with each other that, they fought and killed each other. These Sahabas, are considered as our guide regarding Islam.

[Hostorically, during the rule of Ummayad, until time Umar bin Abdul Aziz(RA) stopped that, official policy of Ummayad Caliphs was to force cussing of ahle-bayt. Yazid who was not Sahaba took precedent over Sahaba (Imam Hussain (RA)) and people just to keep Yazid happy, cuss and killed a Sahaba (Imam Hussain (RA))].

So, what you say regarding them? Was Islam different for them and different for other Muslims? Did another prophet came and told Muslims that what Quran (or Islam) says does not apply on them and apply on later Muslims?

Thus, if Quran had said that what you wrote (.."Only the kuffar will be displeased with the Companions.") then, Sahabas that fought and killed other Sahabas would have become Kafir too. What you think?

[Just rememebr that amongst those Sahabas that fought other Sahabas were Hazrat ALi (RA), Hazrat Aisha (RA), Hazrat Zubair (RA), Hazrat Talha (RA), Imam Hasan (RA), Imam Hussain (RA) and many others who were very close to Prophet (SAW)]

So, what I would like to say is that, none of these Sahabas were Kafir. Kafir is the person that preaches lies, tries to divide Muslims and try to portray other Muslims as Kafirs. If such Munafiqs comes in front, one should tell them what they are, Munafiqs.

Re: Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

Why does the beleifs have to come into this?

Its evident that Hezbollah is with the oppressed and Israel is the oppressor and agressor hence even if Hizbiz were christians or jews, isn't it the right thing to do to support the oppressed?

Re: Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

^ yeaa you're right.

Re: Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

Just to express my feelings I am quoting a poster in some other board.

I may be a Sunni, but I am a Muslim first and foremost. So, although I am Sunni, to you, for the duration of this conflict involving hezbollah, consider me a SHIA!. Because just as Shia means 'party'. so I am IN THE SAME PARTY AS HEZBOLLAH and their fight is my fight, their blood is my blood, their families are my families.

We are Muslims, and though blood is thicker than water, faith is stronger than blood!

Re: Is it righteous to support Hezbollah?

This is the time for all muslims to stand firm behind Hezbollah who are fighting against an oppressive and barbaric army. Even the moderate Lebenese have started shift support towards them.
