Hudhaifah said: “I saw the Prophet (saw) urinate standing.”

The Fuquha say it is the strongest evidence to do it standing.

• To avoid impurity
• To be able to see if anybody is there.

The Prophet (saw) did both, so we accept both. And anybody who says there is a recommendation either way, then it is an innovation.

So these fuqha are basing their argument on one hadith (standing up) and ignoring all the other ahadith about sitting down as well as the famous hadith of Aisha’ to conclude that both are fine.

And their reason “to avoid impurity” and “to be able to see if anybody is there”…hello! people don’t go to the fields anymore to relieve themselves.

I am not one of them for sure. I have given you the link if you want you can go and start an argument with them. I agree to their stance, it is sufficient enough for me. I am sure Allah is bigger than putting me in hell fire just for urinating standing up.
Allah can do whatever Allah wants but Allah is rational. So I count on His rationality and His Rehamat and His Ghaffari.

I already went to the link, there's nothing there except the ahadith, no name of the supposed fuqahas, nothing. I was looking for those "fuqhas" but couldn't find anything about them.

And please don't start talking about hell n stuff, I asked you a simple question "which method is better" and you replied that "fuqhas say both are accepted and whoever tries to suggest that one method is allowed while other is recommended is a bidati".

You are a rational person but you believed everything you read written by some so called fuqha by giving some silly reasons that aren't even apliciable anymore or may be some people still go out to relieve themselves in America.

urinating while standing in a garbage dump, doesn't justify that its allowed to urinate while standing in your house. There need to be more specific hadees stating that there is no harm in either standing or sitting.

exactly, just one hadith about standing.
Also there are many more about the importance of "taharah". Since you wont be able to pray otherwise.

The opinion of the scholars of Ahle Sunnah regarding this issue is that urinating while standing up is makruh while the other method which is sitting down is recommended and I think it makes completely sense seeing the ahadith of Aisha(ra) and other Sahaba(ra).

I mean we do it in the airports, at work, etc... WHY is it an issue at home. My moms like why is the seat up? I'm like, "Uhhh, I had to pee."

Looks like u guys share one washroom...back at my parents house we had four bed rooms on ground floor and two on first. Each one has its own full washroom. Never ever mom checked on us..........
even if u share it with somebody...they shouldn't complain as long as you have a good aim. Nobody would appreciate a pool of pee. Practice more and straighten your aim!
Reminds me when i was a kid...me and my brother had these competitions who could do it from a farthest distance from the seat. Later mom found it out....and the P olympic got banned.

But , from a religious perspective its better to be seated and then do it.

Next time, If we hear that u doing it standing...we will call (0092-Taliban).....they do strange things to boys who do it while standing,
