Not true only colour laser printers. Code been cracked by EFF. I dont think all manufacturers do. I know Xerox, lexmark have maybe others aswell.

I've not seen anything on EFF on inkjet. The reason behind the use is to make it easy to catch those forging notes so used by secret services whose job it is to protect the US dollar. I highly adoubt inkjets will be used for the purpose. Impossible on black lasers as no cyan die.

MS does have a back door in Windows for spying that is why EU has ordered to replace all Windows based system with OSX and others which can be modified and monitored at will.

any evidence? if windows had a backdoor with the amount of users using windows it would have been found by now. To spy it will need to communicate and it's not hard to track packets. I could understand for security reasons dont want to run code the EU cant verify but it's the first I've heard. What so sodifferent about OSX?

I have saying this for a long time. If it is not the hardware, eventually google will turn something on on their network which will , upon their command check your local HDD for any files with the help of google desktop, or for that matter any other google program installed on your computer.
