I just wanted to know if the lehnga (the skirt part) is too long, is it easy to make it shorter to fit…cuz i don’t know why i have a feeling that mine might be too long altho i didn’t see it, but my MIL is gonna bring it over soon insha’Allah (she got it from india), i’m so afraid that if it’s too long, it’s all ruined and cannot be fixed, and i was thinking ok, let’s say it’s too long, i can just fold it up on top (like regular skirts sometimes are too long), but i think it’s just gonna ruin the whole style and the way it looks…anyway, so yeah, is it easy to shorten the lehnga if it’s like too long-like maybe from the bottom or something?? pls let me know asap, so worried!
yeah? Like shortening from the waist won't ruin like the fitting on top? Like let's say it's tighter on top and going to the bottom gets wider, it won't ruin that whole style?
is 41 inches for a lehnga skirt normal for a person who's like 5 foot??
also, i don't know why both the darzee for the walima dress in India and the wedding dress in pak said the size i gave are so small...but i am small, but isn't that normal for them...to make dresses for small sized ppl?
41 inches sounds about right..its about 3 1/2 ft. long..with heels and everything i think itll be just fine... why dont you just measure from your waist to your feet to see??
sounds like it's one of those farshi stuff. like sabriya said, it sounds ok with heels and stuff. and you won't be walking around too much either, and when you sit down, trust me a long lehnga looks MUCH better than one that's the right size
al hamdu lillah!
jazak Allah guys, made me feel soooooo much better! i'll let u know how it turns out when i see it and try it on insha'Allah (prolly next weekend insha'Allah).
