world is built on hope. so, hope ought not to take it away and break it.
that is what humans - thoughtful humans, at least, won't get caught up in i.e. their ego s.
and shift from not liking to liking if that is what is in scheme of the destiny after right kinds of diligent efforts are made by the concerned people, be it at work or in family ties or in personal relationship with a significant other.
true, some things are unforgivable.
but some errors of judgment, some mistakes that hurt, can be addressed, if a person offers an apology and sincerely means to be seen as a realizing being.
in fact research points out if a boy is not liked by a girl for what ever reason, but if he changes her feeling towards himself , and she begins to see him in a good light, it is much more happiness causing for the boy.
same is true in case of a girl.
otherwise, what is delayed, hesitatingly can turn out to be a long lost opportunity to turn back and correct one's mistake.

i understand what u mean, but it's hard to implement it. somethings are forgotten and forgiven easily, but others....well no matter how hard u try to forgive and forget they haunt u for the rest of ur and other person's life. it's tough to live with all that stuff inside u eventhough the other has apologised.....u just can't forget it :( and i guess that's what holds me back today and will later on too.....so it's rather best to let it go and go ur separate ways, yea???....that's the only way i see things being sort of ok sigh it's so complicated
Very True. But then, there is something called Patience that Allah:swt: has given to us. Being a human being, it is true that sometimes, you can’t be patient enough for somethings, but Allah always helps you once you return to Him with patience again, and have FAITH in Him that HE is the ultimate judge, after all… He helps us in all our matters, anyway… seek help from Him - Do a Istekhara as I suggested earlier
