Well we'v got our own Bakery in pakistan MashAllah and INSHALLAH i'll be getting my Wedding cake from thr... And ofcourse InshAllah i can get what ever i want,lol...... Had yummiest n best looking cakes for my Birthday this year,actually last year too, :) Nowadays im looking for a wedding cake too.... i'll show the pic to my dad n Bro, InshAllah they'll get it made for me.... but haven't found something till now..

marvi87, I need to be there to look at it in person. LOL! Haven’t seen such a creation here until now but I think ‘United King’ may be able to make it. I posted the info of bakeries here in Karachi. I’ll pull it up for you. I also think you might need a planner as whatever you want is a bit above the usual requests.
I am sorry, PacMan, can’t help you there. We have loads of announcements on GS regarding Mirpur weddings but no one seems to come back with vendor reviews. We even had a wedding planner near Kotli request but are still waiting for that person to get back to us. If you find out the info, please do post here,

if u r living in islamabad or lahore then RAHAT bakers is best.u can also try united bakers in rawalpindi.
My MIL was always going on about a certain bakery’s cheesecake, when we went to Pak, the “cheesecake” she brought us was a sponge cake with a slab of thin cheese baked on top!!

Marvi, i can ask for the Taj Mahal cake... And it also depends where you live, we once had a order from Islamabad and someone from ladki walay came to pick the cake..may be we can pm!

I have tasted many wedding cakes in Mirpur and they taste horrible! I guess only the cakes in Mirpur suck while other places in Pakistan make delicious ones.

Oh man, that would be great! I am going to Pakistan after February so I have time. I would apreciate it if you can share some info with us. I would really like to know which wedding hall you chose, places you shopped, etc. You are right, many people from mirpur never get back to us on these forums.
