i think it’s too soon to play India again … i mean the last series isn’t 9 months past and we r heading again for this kinda clash … for me this certainly takes out the sting …
I’m actually suprised to see so many ppl here looking anxiously forward to this series … is it the performance against England that makes a lot ppl here that a repeat against India isn’t far away (atleast performance wise)
I think it’s all about money for the PCB and less about the sporting-contest … ditto for the players (atleast for teh Pakistani players) coz any Series including India generates a lo of revenue … but don’t u ppl think this takes away the charm, Tention, Drama such a series holds if its staged in well prepared time frame (like every three years with return tours a few months later just like against England)
So anyone out there who wants my Dish, my Decoder + Card ???
Well I look at it this way... I enjoy the most when Pak plays Australia or South Africa. But we can't play those teams all the time. So, for fillers teams like India and England aren't too bad. I can live with it.
Zero 1 bhai, you can relax since the next series between these 2 sides will be played in 2009.
I guess this series will be more interesting due to couple of major reasons:
This time both sides are pretty high in their test rankings. A win for Pakistan means that India will fall to # 3 spot from their current # 2. Pakistan on the other hand will be closer to number 3 spot. A win for them later with Srilanka in March will bring them closer to # 2 slot and than we will have the contest of the year 2006 when Pakistan will take England in England for the # 2 spot. So a winning momemtum is very critical.
We have a rejuvenated Pakistan squad pumped up after beating England. Perfect timing to take revenge of 2004 defeat.
There has been rumors that Pakistan will prepare bouncy pitches this time. If it happens, believe me that will be a rare site and the series will be a treat to watch. Can't wait to see Gul/Asif in the test side and creating havoc along with shoaib and rana.
I don't know about you, but I am all pumped up to watch this encounter.
Actually they are playing this year to make up for the numerous series lost and thus fulfilling the ICC ten year program. So whether or not we like them to play each year, it is gonna happen for the time being and bear with it.

Last 2 days se tou link hi nahi mil raha, pehle din link mila but never worked, I tried and tried and tried for a few hours, and eventually gave up in frustration, and like I said last 2 days, saloo ne forum mein hi likh diya hai, links are already sent, now you can only watch tomorrow, and also that the Chat room is closed:mad2: .
