Okay little bit of background about me..i tutor privately at university level a few courses and I strictly don’t help with any assignments, or any other material that will be marked as it’s a breach of any university’s policy(assignments as per universities policy are to be done individually or in groups but don’t allow professional help.

So this student is asking me for help with something. Student says it’s not an assignment or anything and it’s just given to him/her for practice, it’s to be done online (He/She goes to a website set up for students taking the course and enters his/hers answers, and the website then tells him/her what they got right and what they got wrong and it gives him/her unlimited attempts to fix the wrong answers). Student wants me to do the whole thing (I’ll be paid) and then he/she can ask me questions if student doesn’t understand it. I’m not sure about it. Even it’s only practice, is it ethical for me to do the whole thing and give it to him/her. Student will then enter it online and ask me questions

This is very unethical. It isn't even a matter of simply helping with the subject you'll be physically doing the exam. Try suggesting you tutor the student in preperation for the online exam?

^^It's not an exam..no where in my post does it say that. and i've clearly stated that student has stated it's a practice question on which i think there are no marks.

Whether it is a practice/ mock exam or a real examination it is called an exam. You need to think about why is he/ she willing to pay you if it isn;t even a real exam???? Daal mein kuch kala hai????

I know what you're talking about because our professors used to have a similar system back in undergrad, and I don't think you should do it. Just explain to the person that it's in their best interest to do them on their own and ask you questions if they're confused.

P.S. get the help part straight for yourself, it's not helping if you're doing the practice questions FOR them-

Thanks guys. yeah i wasn't sure so i contacted the professor and yeah it was best not to do it. :) so i resigned :)
