Yes, you are allowed to have Nikah with that girl, but NOT girl.friend relation.
Men have right on this, they can do second marriage without any conditions really, apart from the one that you can treat and provide for all wives equally, u dont need to take your wifes permission even.
But in our society as you know that is seen as being cheating, disloyal, it is very adviseble to speak to ur wife about it first rather than doing things behind her back, which will hurt her.
Imagine Just change the roles, how wud u like it if you wife was contemplating going out with another guy like this?
