First, he is not your fiance. He is your husband. Just because you aren’t living with him, it doesn’t change what your true relationship with him is.

Second, he is just telling you something about himself. Again, you’re looking for hidden meanings in something that has no hidden meaning. If someone is set to find double meanings then they can find it in even a grain of sand. All you are doing is agonizing yourself over that is just nothing. Nothing at all! In the future your husband will be telling you a lot many more things about himself, his past, his thinkings, and his future plans. Are you going to get upset at every single thing he says? What kind of life would that be with you getting upset at everything. You have to learn, and quickly at that too, about taking things at their face value, and accepting the silly little things as what they are…silly little things.
