You have to check out the guy to see if he's rite for her, otherwise he mite be putting on a show, and revert back to his old ways when he gets married so Shak Kills you have a valid reason to feel disappointed, when my sisters rishta came, me, my brother, and two male cousins, took him out, and figured how he was in front of elders and how he was in a normal social situation with us just to make sure nothing was suspect.

I am wid u Shak kills on this, they should have kept u in picture, u r part of that fam now.Ur feeling is justified, but what i didnt understand is that y didnt ur wife tell u bout the engagement, are u two not so close?
I suggest u talk to ur wife directly n not talk to ur MIL, tell her that u would like to be treated like a fam member n that u consider them to be ur own fam n thus felt bad for not being even informed.Hosakta hai woh samajhte hon u dont want to be involved ,so talk it out.
