Is It Normal To Dream Every Night? And In Every Sleep?

Re: Is It Normal To Dream Every Night? And In Every Sleep?

I was able to do it couple of times. Was never intentional. It was more of a realizaiton that i am in the dream so i was able to control it. After some past personal experience, I have been unable to do this.

Sometime it kinds of get scary.

find out what might be causing those freaky dreams. … Why Do We Dream? Everyone dreams every night … Sleep and, by extension, dreams are affected by alcohol.

whenever you fall asleep, your body releases a certain chemical to put your body into paralysis state. This is done so that you don’t move while you are sleeping.

One of the problem with lucid dreaming is that, your body might have released those chemicals but your mind is awake, which would make you suffer with “sleep paralysis”. You will be fully aware of your surroundings but you wouldn’t be able to move any part of your body. The worst part is that during this, you will start to hallucinate. You might feel presence of someone around you, or even someone sitting on top of you or pressing you hard. Given that all of us strongly believe in “jin-bhoot”, it will lead us to think that we are being possessed by a jin/churail.

It gets scarier.

I’ve had sleep paralysis without lucid dreaming. Once you’re aware of what it is, it shouldn’t be scary.

well thats the most problematic part. At that very moment, your brain wouldn’t think about paralysis, rather it would start hallucinating. Your brain would take 1-10 minutes to reach a metnal state where it can be rational. So during those 1-10 minutes, all your brain is doing is hallucination.
