Tell you the truth ARY lately has been a waste of time. I dont even watch any of their shows now. There was a time last year when ARY aired three superb dramas back to back, Moorat, Khala Kulsm ka Kuma and Uper Gori Ka Makaan but now it’s all crap. And Geo, the only thing worth watching is Khuda Ki Basti. The rest dont ever bother.
Now Ptv Prime on the other hand, lately, has produced a lot of good shows and dramas. Currently I like watching, Tum Mere Ho ( Nauman’s sister is beautiful, the tawaif girl who wears white shalwar kameez in khuda ki basti), Ishq and Eshaas. Casual is a good talk show and of course, Maachis, lol. Now honestly Zainab Qyum (the host), seems more of a Maachis or teeli than the guests she has invited and accuses them of being as such.

I like PTV Prime’s ‘Golden Moments’. I’ve been somewhat following and enjoying Shama on Saturday afternoons. Other than that, ‘Tum mere ho’ is definitely worth watching.
Both ARY and GEO are obsessed with Bollywood, which ticks me off. They have a variety of programs discussing Bollywood movies, as well as ARY likes to run ads of Hollywood movies. I’m sure both Hollywood and Bollywood have enough of their own channels to be running their material. I feel ARY and GEO should advertise for Pakistani dramas and other material rather than for foreign programs.

I don't think there is much to advertise for on the Pakistani side these days, Sadiyah.
When Pakistani directors/producers get their act together, the channels will show good stuff. Its quite simple. I don't think the blame should be on ARY or GEO. It should be on the idiots making these dramas.

dude who cares what channel they're from as long as Prime airs better dramas and shows and reigns above competition by bringing a better entertainment package to our livingrooms. I'm quite sure Prime pays humtv or whoever they are the license fees.

yes its HUMTV that should be getting the credit for the programs being aired on PRIME. North America will get to see the full version of HUMTV later this year. it gets launched in march 06 in UK.

BTW, i was just flipping through channels in the morning and stumbled upon GEO. They were showing a boxing show called Boxer or something. Eventhough the quality of the matchups were nothing to write home about and the commentary was down right horrendous (seriously, if you ever hear worse commentary in your life, i'll send you $100 through paypal) the presentation and the concept looked really solid and promising. You can tell they put some money into it, though it did seem really gimmicky to me.

oh god, my fav topic.
i think prime tv is getting much much much better. who cared if they are showing stuff from hum tv or aaj. i am getting all those shows from prime tv that's all i care about.
i don't really like GEO they are too much.....they try to be independent and then they look like an indian channal, i sometimes felt so embarrace watching geo with my family.
i watched ARY only when it was coming free like a year ago when they started it.
