when i posted that i was thinking about all those whom were truly in love with each other but dint made it at the end, usually lovers do talk this way.

and that not marrying part can be with or without reason, without reason surely its a fake love, but with reason like parents are not agreeing, etc etc, that is still love right

Dar asal sari cheezon ki tarah muhabbat bhi ek fani jazba hai.... agar science ki roo se koi cheez fani nahin sirf shape badalti hai to muhabbat bhi bhes badal leti hai.... jo mil nahin pae, unki muhabbat ka markaz wo jaghen, wo raste bun jate hain jin per unki muhabbat parwaan chaRhi thi... aur shadi shuda log ek doosre ki chah se hat kar ghar ki deewaron ki chah main mubtala ho kar compromise karna shrookar dete hain. Muhabbat kabhi la-fani nahin hoti

no one can be sure its all on luck, at times ur so close and u lose it and at times ur not even there but still u get it

Well, if they can't get married due to external factors beyond their control then it may be love. However, if they just don't want to get married , then I guess not. I mean, it makes no sense to say your my world, my life and my everything but I can't live with you! However, yes, it is possible to feel that way about someone but due to unfavourable circumstances not be able to spend the rest of your life with them.

^^ as they say true love hardly has a happy ending, even the legendary Sassi punnu, heer rangha, etc etc whom example world give were not able to live together only die together, they end them selves up and are remember till today with respect, but if same things happen now it becomes a stupid story, they are sinful and hardly admired for ending up.

why is it like that ??? and how can one tell if the other person is truly in love. Love seems like a mystery to me.

Many people are married to the love of their life goes to prove for some people love does work out. I am not sure but I think heer-ranjha etc are just stories. Love is an unexplained phenomenon, guess it just happens. I guess, at the end of the day it's all destiny what's meant to happen will happen. You can't really tell if a person loves you by what they say, talk is cheap. If someone does truly love you they would try and do all they can to marry you and spend a good life together. However, if for some reason they fail that does not mean they did not love you but it just wasn't meant to be. Everything has an end and generally it's good to have a practical approach rather than a fantastical approach to things.
