Like yeah if you immediately remove the bacha hooa salan without mixing it with the burnt layer..
and like you can use non-stick pan, cuz they like prevent the salan from burning. I always end up burning a thin layer of salan esp. when its being bhoonafied, and I am not around :rolleyes: (because I hate standing in the kitchen and staring at the salan like a guardian angel) but due to non-stick base, salan doesnt get burnt like in regular steel/silver pans

yah like sadaf said remove the top salan which is unburnt and you dont get to much taste.

Bored in Brisbane i heard adding half cup of milk will remove the smell of burning from the food try this totka if ur salen burned.may be it works as i didnt experiment it.

I remember burning Qeema once and then adding heaps and heaps of Kewra

Qeema ended up smelling like Shahi Tukray

hmmmm bored than first i ahve to burn my salan then i can try it, and i dont want to take risk,but inshallah dont worry and try this i hope it will work.

waisay I heard that too, that you can add some milk to the salan. I remember when I was learning to cook years ago, I burnt kaali masoor ki daal, and added some milk kisi ke mashwaray pe.. the salan tasted :yukh:

I never burnt any salan again :halo:

Okay :bummer: yeah I did, but I always change the pan and take the bacha hooa salan carefully out.

i was in the kitchen frying something and ammi had left salan to cook aswell
we were having a dawat
so i am busily frying, i pay no attention to the salan at all and it burn:blush:
so ammi says it will stil have to go ont he table…
now the people who were coming are my mum and dad’s aunty uncle
toh we cal em nana nano
now nana nano are eating and nano tastes the jala huwa salan and says to her hubby this has kerele in it
me and ammi looked at each other and just about managed to keep ourselves under control
jala huwa salan ko kerele gosht bana diya :rotfl:
