to make naan in the microwave…or how about roti…um…what do you think?

since i have been experimenting…
if u have grill in microwave like i have there is a chacne of making nan in microwave but im not sure about rotiyan…

Once I was in a real hurry and I had some goondha hua aata leftover from the weekend. So, I decided not to waste it and tried making a paraatha in microwave. I rolled the pairra with ghee inside. THen flattened it out. Then I greased the microwave plate with some butter and slapped the paraatha dough inside the micorwave. Put it to 1 min cook and staterted seeing thru the door window. One minute gone and I saw little movement in the topology of paratha. So I put it on another mintue and went to brush my teeth. While I was brushing my teeth , I heard the beep beep of microwave. Came back and see that paraatha isready but the shape was kinda weird. So I decided to taste a niwala beofre gorging on the whole thing. It was good but wasn't as good as tawaa paraatha. So I just made a roll out of the paratha and grabbed my tea and hit the road.

No more microwave paratha for me.

Only if its a convection microwave oven.

If its a regular microwave, its useless heating any dough based food, eg bread, pizza, cake etc. If done, they always come out rubbery in texture.

The best thing that can be made in a microwave are popcorns and thats about it!!

Nahi not true you can make really good hot chocolate :p
