Or should we never even touch the idea of it for fear of unnecessary curiosity from our children?
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
talk to whom?
you mean talk to your kids about it?
if so yes its important to talk about it but only when they reach a certain age i.e. when you think they are able to understand such things like they have grown up, getting married etc.
btw as they'll grow up they learn it themselves via various sources and perhaps one day they will be teaching their parents about its various types. lol.
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
its not allowed in Islam
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
YES! YES! YES! Very important. Amazingly important. Hell everybody should have sex-ed classes.
What hasn't this multi-nick been banned yet. Show me one ayat from the Quran or Hadis that discusses condoms.
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
Lol who does this multi belong to? He only posts to get a reaction.
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
mehh, this sex ed thing is over-hyped these days. My parents didn't have to talk to me about sex, their parents didn't have to either and so on.
Life goes on just fine without it.
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
Yes. As long as you have porn to help you out, no sex ed needed :k:
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
how did u learn?? ![]()
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
Pr0n actually encourages sexual behaviour. The man himself, Ted Bundy, said porn plays a huge role in driving serial rapists to the unthinkable (he's the sicko who had sex even with corpses!). So the more porn kids watch, the more sex ed they actually need to make them aware of the downside.
Nomi beta how did our nanas par-dadas, par-par-par-dadas learn?
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
Do they teach about contraception at all in schools in Pakistan?
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?

they barely touch it. that too if you've taken biology as an optional subject. and of all school years, you get one class (only because it's part of the o'lev syllabus) after them going on and on about mohenjodaro and harrappa ... and that class is hardly 30 mins .. of which the teacher is acting all shy for half the time and the class giggling ... and at the enf of those 30 mins, you've learnt nothing and when the exams are close by ... the girls or guys discuzz it amongst themselves to clear out concepts ... "so exactly how and why does the egg travel from the .. wait ... where does it travel?"

Quran doesn't mention hybrid cars either :/ Dangit!
We've got the concept of Azl/coitus irruptus = method of contraception. Condoms are just another way of going about not popping urchins left and right.
Re: Is it important to talk about contraception?
