Do you think people that post things on here including myself about their family and family members or persons in general amounts to backbiting and is haram?

no because it’s anonymous and you are seeking advice. no malice is intended. we don’t know either you or your folks…if anyone of know each other then it will be considered backbiting.
it has to be a negative talk to constitute as backbiting!

i dont think so coz we dont know abt eachother and actually backbiting creates problems and misunderstandings between people dats y here it wud not be haram coz u dont even know abt da person and it wudnt create any prob for anyone ..

Gupshup would come under Fatwas for the amount of backbiting that goes on here. Just hope that mullahs don’t catch up to the technology anytime soon or we’re doomed.
