Premise of the OP is that…the act which was a religious ritual/practice of the kuffar in pre-islamic times (i.e before the coming of the Prophet or Islam in its final form) is haram…

and i just said that…the kuffar did used to do tawaaf at teh kaaba and worship their, considered it holy etc…

anyaways…i don’t want to get into too much of an argument…since my posts keep getting moved…

OK. But the point I made was Tawaaf was performed by the prophet SAW himself. And first Tawaaf if I know correctly was performed by Ibrahim AS. Hence it was not good example. That’s all.

God has given humans a brain - why not use it, before binging such topics on this discussion board.
I see all these vague questions being asked in GS - where a simple application of the brain could answer it.

Is music banned in Islam.
Is singing banned in Islam
Is dancing banned in Islam
Is using lipstick by woman banned in Islam.
Is masterbating banned in Islam
Is "wishing' other non-muslims on their festivals banned in Islam
Is having friends from other religions banned in Islam
Burqha - Is it compulsory for women.
Is it Ok to beat one's wife in Islam
Woman should not drive a car in Islam
Is using a computer - haram.
and so forth !

Use it, or lose it.
