Muslim women are allowed to visit a mosque. The biggest example is masjid-e-nabvi where u see men and woman together.

Muslim woman aren’t allowed to go to a mosque and perform prayers along with men. If in the mosque there is a separate place for ladies then they can visit that.

Technically we’re allowed to pray in the same room but men separate in front with women behind them but a lot of desis are obviously uncomfortable with that.. Arranged like that or with a curtain/barrier is perfectly acceptable in terms of Islam, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a separate room let alone a separate building..
