Assalam o Alaikum,

The meat that the Maple Lodge Farm sells in Mississauga, Ontario… Is it halal? Many people say yes but there are some who say no. The ones who say no justify by saying that the chicken goes through a machine and a tape recorder is played in which the Muslim says the words that are said prior to slaughtering the animal in the Islamic way. Even if this is true, is the meat considered acceptable/halal? Can the tape recorder be enough for having the meat slaughtered in the halal way? I’ve been curious about the timing between the meat and the voice…

Can someone clarify this for me? I wouldn’t want to eat meat that’s haram…

Interesting… Hmmm well this is simple… The recorded msg cant be a takbeer for each animal..

on the other hand… Did the person who record it do the NIYYAT of slaughtering 1000 or 1 million chickens or an UNKNOWN NUMBER of chickens ??

and how can you do a NIYYAT for an egg that is going to be laid by a chicken a week later and then it will grow up as chicken after 30 days…

you dont even know that the person slaughtering the chicken is full of NIYYAT.. and 1 thing more… Non-Muslims do not believe on Takbeer… they just cut down the Shah-Ragg…

and at-last.. lets believe if the recorded takbeer is ok to prove it halal..but do you know that the person slaughtering it play it at the time ??? and if the machine is cutting them then no chance so it will be all HARAAM…
