Citrine has a point here. I understand that its a big day but how about having others be part of your big day by getting their dua-ain.
If you are rich, go ahead, spend as much, but make a pledge that if not all, you will give 50% of the same amount to the poor.
In some Baloch families, when they get married, they make sure that they have someone poor they know (could be family member, neighbor, servant), get married at the same time, part of all the ceremonies.
One baloch wedding that I attended, had this Baloch guy and his driver getting married in same ceremony, and all the expenses were paid by this baloch guy. They were wearing equal quality clothes.
