From Boston ..is it better to go to Houston for job…
Or has Boston got a better atmosphere to grow & to do the job???
Any advice???
How is the atmosphere there in Houston in terms of education, culture & people???Here is Boston,as everyone knows being a University Town..there is an intellectual atmosphere…
but at the same time the cost of living compared to wages is terrible…
Any comparison??
Re: Is it better to go to Houston??
Houston is HOT and HUMID

Boston is Cold & Clammy...
Re: Is it better to go to Houston??
After seeing Boston at its snowy worst, I'll take Houston any time - if weather is all that matters.
If you are young whippersnapper looking to change jobs every other year, Boston is better. More challenges opportunties and rewards there.
Better climate and desi food in Houston. Plus a lot cheaper

^How is Boston better???I mean what Boston has to offer that Houston can't??What kind of rewards in Boston?
Re: Is it better to go to Houston??
Well what are your qualifications? I mean Boston or Houston could make no difference for a person with a Liberal Arts degree. For a Petroleum or Chem Engineering graduate, it could make a world of difference.
Re: Is it better to go to Houston??
I have asked this question many times and after lots of research I decided to stay in Boston. Boston's economy is far more diverse and potential for growth is far more higher than Houston.
Personally, I don't care about the weather at all. After a while you get used to everything. I have lived in houston, washington dc, seatlle and boston. I found Boston to be best for career growth and for pay. If I want to retire, I will certainly consider Houston, Dallas, etc. I know my retirement money is going to go lot further in Houston than other places. At this time, if career growth/pay is important to you, stay in Boston.

^ I agree growth is much more better in Boston as compared to Houston especially as every one knows it is the Mecca of Health Industry with Brigham,MGH & NEMC....But if one is in computer industry what's your opinion??
