Is it a sin?

Re: Is it a sin?

Quran defines all "fardh", Sunnah/hadith defines all "sunna/wajib".

Re: Is it a sin?

yeah thats what i hard its sunnah.

i don't like guys with moncheein and darhi - not my type... sorry...

Re: Is it a sin?

^ sadly I agree :-/

BUT now I am starting to feel guilty for not letting my dad keep it, hes wanted to for a while but me and my mom are like NO and its just I feel like stoping them from doing something good :(

Re: Is it a sin?

Molana Madoodi said beard is in Islam,Islam is not in beard ,just think if it was a gunah what would the(khosas) do.

Re: Is it a sin?

trust me, there are men out there who have beards, 100% Sunnah style..and they dont give a damn what the girls think, or what they like and what they dont like. Alhumdulillah they got their priorities sorted.

Re: Is it a sin?

where is your reference to support that? That means most of the men who don't have beard their hajj will not be accepted. My dad masha'allah performed 7 hajj and he never had beard in his life. You think all those hajj he performed are no use for him now?

Re: Is it a sin?

Sharaabi, I'm not talking about what the girls think or other guys out there. I'm interested in finding out if we've got guppies here who maintain a beard according to the interpretations of Shariah.

Re: Is it a sin?

^ Theres alot of discrepencies on that.

But majority of the Ulema state it to be one fist length.

We get that from Harun pbuh, and Umar r.a.

Re: Is it a sin?

I'm not talking about discrepencies. I'm interested in finding out who maintains a beard according to Shariah. I'm aware that we have differences, but I'm sure we all follow that which we believe is by far the most sound and authentic interpretation.

Re: Is it a sin?

^ Thats what I'm saying. I've met brothers who say A beard has to be seen from 40 feet away, etc.

Then i've also met brothers who say according to sunnah its one fist's length.

So beard according to shariah has its differences.

Although more brothers, ulemas, and I majority conclude it to be one fist's length.

Re: Is it a sin?

Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi on beards

Re: Is it a sin?

no its not as long as u look handsome:)

Re: Is it a sin?

I am not sure of the rights and wrongs of mens facial hair, however I find the logic that if you respect/love someone - you will immitate them somewhat disturbing.

I am but ignorant of this topic, this is my neutral (humble) tuppance.

Re: Is it a sin?

you’ve dodged Sadiyah’s questions as much as you could :hehe: … dude where (how long) is ur beard

My beard… is as they call it Shia style, Jamati style… not full fist.

Re: Is it a sin?

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Mine is 1 inches thick, not a full fist yet…:bummer:

Re: Is it a sin?

well, its just that, the love for the Prophet pbuh is intense, and thatsh ow it shud be for a muslim.

Its not like loving ur wife :p where you dress up in a saari cuz u love her :p

Re: Is it a sin?

hahahahahahahaha ^^ what if she asks REALLY nicely :p

Re: Is it a sin?

^ Then you might wanna take her to a psychologist

Re: Is it a sin?

listen up the 4 Imams ie Imam Abu Hanifa,Imam Ahmed,Imam Shafi,Imam Malik they all said that keeping beard is Wajib which means men will be asked about it on the day of judgement.
Simply one verse of the Holy Quran tells us to follow Holy Prophet saw
"If u want to follow Allah follow the Prophet saw"
Perhaps we should follow everything which prophet saw did.
Regarding ur love for wife abt SARI it is a women dress and men r not allowed to wear women dress very simple.

Al Qaradawi is one of those people, who compromise on The Truth, telling the masses what they want to hear.
