And it's not possible to get your parents and his to meet? Meeting/interacting with a person gives us a better idea of who they are.
If you have firmly decided to move on from this guy........then that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to marry your cousin. How would that make you happy? Talk to your parents and tell them that you have moved on from that guy.....and that you're open to considering other rishtas.....but that you don't want to marry your cousin and explain your reasons for it. You may even need to talk to your cousin (in person) and let him know that you're not interested in the rishta...that you never approved of it. Or if you're not sure about your cousin......then get to know him.....before deciding upon a marriage.
