Is it a guy thing?

Re: Is it a guy thing?

It’s okay, I know i’m uptight and kanjoos and all that good stuff :stuck_out_tongue: But seriously, is a lil bit of shareefness toomuch to ask for

Re: Is it a guy thing?

And hiccup, no its not about me liking him or whatever, I think i mentioned that in my first post. I just find it shows lack of class or etiquette..

Re: Is it a guy thing?

I fnd this comment very chocolate-cake-esque. Unless its your brother or your father or your lover, it should be all good.

Remember, a guy friend sees you as a neutral, as “one of the lads”.

Re: Is it a guy thing?

chocolate cake... :(

Re: Is it a guy thing?

hahahaha interesting thread!!!

Re: Is it a guy thing?

You know wats worse?
A guy holding a girls hand and staring at other women

Re: Is it a guy thing?

There is some truth in saying that the guys just may not be refined enough for your company.

I tend to believe that people will respond to you the way you teach them to. So if you are chummy with the guys then they will consider you one-of-the-guys ( and don't get all offended like PCG did, it's just a phrase) and crack the same kinds of jokes and comments that they do when they are with only the men.

Perhaps this relates back a bit to the feminazis destroying chivalry thread going on in General.

Re: Is it a guy thing?

I see it as a sign of a guy being comfortable and thinking of you as just a friend, so being relaxed enough to treat you like one of the boys. If it bothered you, you should have asked him to behave.

Re: Is it a guy thing?

^ True.

Sometimes guys are just thick, and I guess guys these days are getting more comfy around women and showing their true colors. You can always tell him to calm himself down and that it makes you uncomfy. Or well, you can always watch and find out the dirt on a guy :D

Re: Is it a guy thing?

Hehe! No, i guess not, depends…every1 is differrent…just be glad he’s just a friend that’s wot i think…

Re: Is it a guy thing?

i dont find it disrespectful when my guy friends check out other girls while they are around/with me. In fact, i tend to check them out with them and give them my approval or not. grins

Re: Is it a guy thing?

Okay so maybe it's just me being uptight.. thanks guys :)
