This post makes me wonder about something. US/Canadian/European born girls often post about feeling like they’re competing with Pakistani-born girls for good marriage prospects (the guys go back home to marry a Pakistani girl).

Do Pakistani-born, raised and residing girls ever feel like they’re competing with girls from abroad for the best marriage prospects in Pakistan? Meaning the guys living in Pakistan that come from good families, who are educated and shareef, if they get a rishta from a American/Brit/CDN girl, is he more likely to want to marry the girl from abroad, thus reducing the pool of candidates for Pakistani girls - or is that not an issue?

People (in Pakistan) I know don’t wanna marry their son to a US or UK born because they don’t wanna “lose” their son.
