I think you are slowly drifting from the position you started from. You used word rejected without any good reason then you said people strayed hence need for NEW religion.
You hve not read my above post carefully.
I asked why would same Allah reject his own teachings?
I used word religion for simplicity but technically **Judaism/Christianity and Islam are extension of SAME religion with modiifcaton/improvement.**
As for your question, I already mentioned yes previous 'methods' were to be abandoned but basics were not rejected.
I am sorry you felt that way, i am with the same view from the start... i am amazed how easily you ignored a simple question i asked you....
anyway, leave that now, i'll try to wrap it up by asking something mentioned in your post quoted above
Is it OK, if i convert to Christianity or Judaism? and still go to heaven in after world? again simple yes or no would do....
I added word obsolete because this is what Allah has done (unlike Microsoft in my example). The later OSes have refined build codes (if you know the build no. of kernel), more features and add ons to keep up with the latest demands of the users and applications.
Now if you apply this analogy you will get your answer. Isn't Windows XP based on earlier NT4 kernel, yes it is with more refined kernel build. But it is based on same kernel, just more refined and tweaked for performance and stability. Hence its called new version in software terminology. Microsoft did not write it from scratch, why would they when they have invested 20 years developing their best approach to an OS for PCs. Same thing with Islam. Its same message (why the basics be changed, its tawheed, the core of Allah's message right!) but more refined and ad-ons (sharia laws). Now to answer your question above, can you upgrade from NT 4.0 to Windows 7? No, MS requires you to install Windows 7 on a barebone system because there is no upgrade procedure from one build to another (unlike XP to Vista upgrade as Christianity was suppose to be a refresher of Judaism for Jews). So for acceptance of Islam one needs to acknowledge that the message prior to Islam was true but was corrupted or outdated to serve people of whole world till judgment day, just like you cannot run latest apps on NT 4.0 for compatibility reasons in 2011. NT was not designed for today's demanding apps and web-rich content, so didn't Judaism, it was not meant to be complaint for all times and it is evident from the restrictions. Islam is the religion of all Prophets from Adam to Muhammed SAW and has carried the same message, just more refined laws.
A simple yes or no would have been better as i am still not clear if anyone following Judaism or Christianity are on the right track, the path which Allah have suggested for us
Is Islam a continuation of previous divine religions? YES
Are today's Jews or Christians are on right path? NO
That answers your questions. You can stop reading at this line.
As for the second question, there are obvious facts that rules out them being on right path, according to Islam.
Jews, since they have corrupted their scriptures and have humiliated and killed Prophets.
Christianity on other hand was hijacked in its infancy and was completely redesigned during 3rd century to fit the Latin world of that time by Constantine. So it is a complete 180 degree turn around of what Moses and Jesus preached.

Bhai sahab, I already said that would not be the case as per islamic view in these days. Does not mean the pure Judaism and Christianity ...meaning the teachings of Moses AS and Issa AS were REJECTED. Simple concept.
Read carefully what I wrote above.
One thing is not clear from this thread...Why did you even start the thread?
I mean what is the point there? What is the intention? Care to explain? :)
Then how come we find so many common things among these religions, and why do their respective books point at the coming of another Prophet - the last Prophet (p.b.u.h). Why does the Quran comprise of the stories of different Prophets who went before? Because they were all part of the final product.

I am in complete agreement with you.
In my opinion, the four divine books originally contained the same message, but 3 out of four books have undergone innumerable changes (additions and omissions).
Even though the people of book follow the "Divine scripture" the scripture itself has been adulterated in the hands of corrupt authorities, to suit their agendas. The people who follow the contaminated version of the divine book are a misguided nation. The original version is no where to be found.
The only holy book that has been preserved in its original form, and will stay pure and unaltered until the last day is Quran.
Nonetheless, some people have produced their own corrupt versions of quran translations and tafseers and they are widely available on internet. But the actual Quran in its original form is untouched and available, we just need to look at the right places.
sir Islam is not the religion which started 1400 years Islam was only religion which was brought up by all the Prophets starting from Hazrat ADAM AS up to Hazrat MUHAMMAD SAW so the religion which you know as Judaism is basically nothing it was actually Islam which was changed by people
Diwana teachings of PROPHETS other than HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW are not present in their orignal form so we cant follow them also they were meant only for specefic people and and for specefic time now we only have to follow QURAN and SUNNAH OF HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW
^^ In addition to above, Islam simple rejected all the religions existed on the earth, Islam was not the next version of Judaism nor it was the refined version of Christianity.. it was something new to the people of those times, when the other books where compromised to meet the lust of the humans, the new Book and new way of life was taught to the people who have been ignored by the culture-rich empires of Persia and Rome... proving the power of the Book, crushing the super powers of that time within the 30 years..
Just my opnion ... Didnt ALLAH send all PROPHETS a.s to provide hadyat to human being ? wouldnt it be fair only if ALLAH sent all PROPHETS a.s spreading same message thats is Hadayat ? ... Christians called is Christianity, Jews called it Judaism and Muslims called it ISLAM.
asked why would same Allah reject his own teachings?
With Islam coming in to Arabia, the previous 'religions' were not condemened or rejected my friend.

Quran is full of good words for prior prophets and their teachings. So how come a muslim can say Judaism or Christianity were REJECTED?
[/QUOTE]
religion of God per spirit of Quran has always been one ( which muslims believe is islam )
There is no neat classification of islam, judaism and christianity per God in Quran.Quran does recognizes the good in all human beings and according to some verses promises reward for those who do good deeds and believe in the last day.
However there is NO endorsement of the religions as existed in those days
