Sorry, but as saying goes where there is smoke there is fire. And what is thuggish about it? IK is a public figure & is known for his hypocrisy. On the one hand he is chumming up with Taliban & at the same time he has disowned his own daughter. Personally, I think he is an opportunist and phony & should be exposed for his hypocrisy.

^ he is better than most of us who come here and waste their time to open threads just to defame someone . What he does in his personal life does not hurt the nation but what he is doing for cancer patients is definitely benefiting the humanity.

when will ppl learn the basic ethics of politics wht his private life has to do wth Pakistan, if we start exploring the private life of Pakistani politicians tu Pakistan ka tu phr ALLAH hafiz.
its not new we are now used to when ppl cant find anything against IK they start character assassination and pointing at personal life of IK. umer cheema whi has no credibility of his own , you think ppl will believe him ha.
I feel pity for everyone who try to defend their political argument by pointing at IK personal life.

On a serious note, isn’t this consensual sex part of human rights charter as per liberal society. Same liberal society otherwise also supports privacy like anything. Double standards.

When a leader runs on a conservative platform, aligns himself with conservative ideology, his private life is fair game. When a politician is hypocritical in his conduct, calling him on it is fair game.
The OP simply reported what was in the media. At some point, truth will come out. But hero worship , unless directed at talaiwa, needs curtailing.

If this rumour is true it would decide Imrans political career. If there is nothing in these rumours Imran should categorically deny them.

I don’t get the connection. Are you saying IK is a good upright religious person who inspired folks to come into the fold? If that’s the case, IK can quite easily quash this rumor by denying it. Hold a press conference and answer all questions.

No my point is why ppl jump in to point out negative aspects of some n the same ppl remain silent or close eyes forr positive step of the same perdon. Why this double standard.

You mean something like - “I, Imran Khan have come here with my entire team to hold an emergency press conference as a result of few verminous tweets posted about me on twitter which have been picked up by some couple of random Indian masala websites”. Not sure if it sounds like a good idea.
So, don’t worry about Imran’s response, he’s the most accessible political leader in Pakistan, and in upcoming days, he’ll be approached and covered by all fronts in the media. So I cam assure you the day this rumour becomes a national panic, journalists won’t think twice before asking him to verify this at national TV, on prime time hour. He’s been asked lot worse.

I’m not a public figure and if I was it would be fair…especially if my decision making powers had an impact on other peoples lives.
