Is Ialam a failed religion?

Islamic States are dumped in corruption till neck. No Islamic State can live without an enemy or rivalry. For all personal disqualifications they blame the West.
This is the condition of majority Muslim habitant areas. Do Majority of Muslims behave as per teachings of the Prophet Mohhammad?

Is Islam a failed religion?

read your own post..the very first line is where the answer lies..

are we talking about Islam or 'Islamic' States?

is it a function of religion or is it a function of the socio-economic status of these countries. These problems seem to be present in pretty much all third world countries regardless of religion.

as far as political rivalries, I dont know of any country that does not have one..no matter what the faith of the majority of its citizens.

plus I dont really see much hoo haa coming from UAE, Bahrain, Brunei. so the "all" part kinda falls flat on its face anyways.

challo congrats on the new nick, how long u planning to keep this one :)

madhanee, thanks for the info, I will check to see when it is on again

It’s not the religion, but the followers. Yesterday, there was an excellent documentary ‘Children of Terror’ a Times-Discovery production, done in Pakistan by a young Pakistani journalist. She is brilliant. Check it out if you didn’t get a chance to see it.
