The value investors are taking a stand on this specific stock. They have yet to provide any clue on where they stand wrt market as a whole.

The valuation. For this stock is getting full per the Views/Replies ratio of 20. However we believe the growth story is still intact.

The last few days have been rocky for investors. Standing tall has been HUM(A) shares. While at first the reason was not apparent, a press conference held a couple of days ago for ALL to VIEW helped clear up the situation.

In that conference, HUM(A) strongly came out in support of safety net for the ones who are having a rough patch. This caught the attention of socially responsible fund managers. In an environment where most if not all CEOs believe in trickle down economics, they found it refreshing to find a CEO who cared about fairness. It was their thesis that such fairness would carry over to the workplace thus lifting morale of those in the frontlines.

Sure enough, while the Median CEO pay has risen to 400 times Median pay of employees, they found at HUM(A) this ratio was barely greater than 1. Hence they bought shares hand over fist.

Subsequently, we learned that savvy value fund managers also recognized the benefits of owning a company with progressive policies towards society and its workforce.

Are the shares still undervalued? We would wait for a pullback. Those who followed our reports made a nice bundle, we might add.

The shares were down about 1.5% today. Is this the pullback we expected? Time will tell.

Peace Psyah, you are correct partially I think. In the entertainment industry they say all types of publicity is good publicity. ( This being a family friendly thread, I chose not to use exp.... :) ]

But the stock in question HUM(A) is engaged in only running daily operations. While our office has received gentle concerns abt the complex ity of this thread, your post has kept our entire staff up scratching their heads.
