The world is always changing, and we must change with it-this is one of the tenents of Hinduism.
In that sense I believe Hinduism is a followable religion in the modern world-can you say the same about Islam?

Well, In India many from minority sections and dalits have reached top official posts. Appart from political post, there are many officers in army, police officers and IAS from the traditional dalits or minorities.
It is not important that people from minority and dalit communities have reached these posts......Important is that there has never been any protest from any Hindu section against the appointments of these people to the top posts. Or I have not read any article against these appointments.
Can Muslims claim the same of their society? After we can decide which religion is better and followable in modern world.

No, I never asked people in general what their caste was, only one person who always wanted to drag in other issues while not wanting to discuss the Hindu Caste system. You volunteered by telling us your caste without even being asked, and then you minded when I pointed it out later, but now you say you don’t. So I think you should read your posts and make up your mind, before needlessly accusing anyone of racism.

^ why do u want his caste to be known to u.. what was the motivation for u to bring in him his caste even if he is giving u unwanted details. I wanted to say that views expressed are not to be confused with their caste in indian hindus. I wanted to bring out that caste system to at least the educated people is much diluted. Did u read my post. Well u cant hide ur racist ideas by clinging on to the fact that i voluntarily made known my caste. And u basicaly used it as a sarcastic comment. Didnt u.

What was the motivation of that person of bringing in other religions when the topic is about the Hindu caste system? It is the same motivation as yourself when confronted with the hard questions about your religion's justification for the evil caste system - denial. The only racists are those who oppress and murder low caste Hindu's like the Dalits i.e. their fellow higher caste Hindu's, whose origins go back to the religious texts written thousands of years ago. Not one Hindu has come foward and said that such texts must be totally and unequivocally stricken from Hindu religious teachings, or that the Caste system should be abolished in it's entirety. All I have heard is excuse after excuse, and denial after denial.

You are right. There can be thousand more posts but nothing can satisfy idiots.
Look, we have many dalits, and minority people at top official and political posts. But all over India you cannot show me a single article or demonstration against the appointements of these people. Does it show something?
Can you say the same of Muslim majority states?
And if Hindu religion is followable? I dont know, but atleast Hindus do not bomb the metro stations.
