Is Hindi India's National language?

Is Hindi India’s National language? Misinformation or Disinformation? There has been strong opposition for Hindi from Marathi speakers in India, where Hindi is being promoted at the expense of Marathi in Maharashtra. Miliions of Hindi speakers do not attempt to learn the state language.

All the legal rights, respect and importance, granted by the statute to other official languages in their respective states must also be conferred upon Marathi in Maharashtra. “We do not ask for anything more, but we shall not settle for anything less too”. How can you impose a national language in a country like India where every state has its designated language?

It's kind of unfair if you ask me.

there is very important lesson here for Pakistan, one of the reason why India has improved and developing well is because of acceptance of all languages as Indian, acceptance of our diversity even when we have millions of differences, no Indian is same as the other and 'we are same for India'.
