gaarhi = thick, viscous (opposite of runny)
The ‘r’ in gaarhi is not your regular r but rather the ‘r’ found in kapray (clothes).
I’ve noticed Indians tend to use a ‘d’ for that ‘r’.
For example ‘boy’ would be spelt in roman hindi as Ladka, whereas pakistanis would spell it as Larka.
