ok so..a gurl tells her bf that her parents r looking rishtay for her and asks him what to do to get outta this situation...n the guy responds by sayin "im not gud luking or rich, so u decide what u have 2 do"...when the gurl asks if its okay with him if she leaves him n marries someone of her parents choice..n he says if that guy can give her a better life thn its okay with him...and after sometime he comes and tell her that he cant live without her, he loves her and want 2 marry her..

It's not always bollywood-ish. I was seriously considering a rishta and totally fell in love with this man. He adored me too. However, it turned out that I needed to have a surgery for something and I didn't really know how my life would've turned around after the surgery. He was older than me plus being rushed by his parents. So I asked him several times to consider someone else for himself (it killed me to ask that but i did my part alhumdulillah).
It wasnt an attempt to keep holding on to him by manipulating him. I just thought it would be fair to let him know his options.

He is heartbroken but to put a brave front he tells the girl to do what she thinks is right, secretly hoping she would opt for him. Few days later he realizes she's not coming back to him and he shows up all sad faced.
Happens everywhere, everyday.
