but in fact if we look at the Islamic Culture and duties of a wife in Islam..

wife does not have to do all them chores around the house…if the husband is able to afford…then he is supposed to provide domestic help…

One good example…even breast feeding their was not wives duty…husbands would provide wet nurse for that too…

My husband helps me a lot in housework and that upsets my inlaws, they argue with him by saying " mian biwi gaari kay do pahiye hain " (you know typical bollywood dialogues) but my husband always present the islamic point of view regarding women and housework.

I know so many Asian women suffer because of Indian culture and Indian movies and bloody starplus dramas influenced inlaws.
