Haleem originates from Iraq after Kerbala's incident. Turkish, Iranains and Iraqies still make haleem. It is not a South Asian dish.

I eat it without bread when I feel like it and use bread when I dont feel like it

if its not tasty I will eat 1 plate with roti and 1 with out just to check

if its tasty I will eat 2 plates with out roti if I like it then I will eat 2 plates with roti
