Re: Is going to a massaj parlour a sin,in different cultures?
It's kind of like the issue of whether or not it's okay for a woman to get treated by a male doctor.
Well, sometimes you don't have the option of choosing the professional's gender. What if you have a serious medical condition and the only doctor who has the best expertise to treat you is one who is of the OPPOSITE gender????? Should you forsake your health in order to avoid being treated by a non-mahram????? That's not reasonable because Islam ALSO says that your body as rights over you.
Now, if you are in a situation where there are a VARIETY of physicians to choose from......then you can always make the effort to select a doctor of the same gender as you.
In the end..........it depends upon your intention or neeyat. Is your intention to seek pain relief through the massage? Or is your intention to seek an orgasm? If there are a variety of masseurs.......of both genders.........ask for one of the same gender.
ALSO...............if you ALWAYS have an achy-breaky body.........then perhaps your solution would be not a massage parlor..........but a doctor........who can tell you why you're always in pain. It could be caused by stress........and there are less expensive treatments for that.
