there are so many other documentaries like this which made me open this thread. One documentary said Glasgow is the murder capital of western Europe and is comapred to Chicago for its high rate of organised crime (mostly knife crime).
I think it depends on the area just like with any other city. I know the Shettlestone area is one of the most deprived areas in the UK and so it has one of the highest crime rates. Generally, the west end of Glasgow is much much safer than the east end.
Also, I did a module on behavioural medicine and there were a lot of studies proving that people living in Glasgow generally had a lower life expectancy compared to people living anywhere else in the UK
Yep Shettlestone and Pollockshields are famous for thier gangs... but it's like that everywhere... all cities like all places have thier good ends and bad ends.
Just mae sure you stay in the bright side and dont go to the dark side... otherwise you might end up in a dead end... literally.
Allah sub ko mafooz rakeh, Ameen.
Waissay yeh haar jaga hota hain... bura kis ko manoo balla kis ko jannu?
do people feel comfortable staying out till late at night? or walking alone on the streets? or are the gangs only active in certain areas and most of Glasgow is safe?
Gang turf wars are common and the only whati would call organised crime is determined by drugs and gun running the later is rarer but the drugs and thier related robberies are common.
