It's balanced their. In our society it's overwhelming .. sick. Probably because of less education, resources & foreign contact.

And things aren't very much better with the educated/wealthy class. In DHA, Lahore, a couple was sitting in a park when the girl's brother drove up with some of his friends and beat the hell outta the boy. Then, the next day, the boy came with his friends and guards and they actually fired at the girls house, breaking some windows...
How sick is that????

criminals are criminals where ever they are...
I don't think men rape men in prisons in pak as its done in Europe.
But then again its men who earn respect for organizations.
For example.. if a crime is done here(in west) police make it their ego issue till they resolve it.
To me other then army and cricket not many ppl have pride in the profession they do.....
In pakistan its said that if you kill a cop you will not die your natural death.. they will kill you.....
I mean why ordinary man's life is not equally important??

What are you getting so defensive for? Just like you have your opinion, i have mine. And pls dont even get me started about why and how i think the western society is sicker. Maybe you are alien to these news every other day about dad raping his daughter, brother doing his sister, mother putting her child in oven n all that sorts. Pls give me a break!

Iconoclast - the reason some people left tributes etc for Moat is because they felt sorry for him. The wikipedia article is kind of one sided. Yes he commited awful crimes but he did actually ask for psychiatric help, he knew he had a problem, and maybe if he'd gotten the help he asked for things wouldnt have happened the way they did. You have to look at the bigger picture. Based on this single story, i wouldnt say english society is sick.

Last story I heard about mothers involved the mother poisoning her children and then herself just because she had some disputes with her husband. And perhaps you missed the story in which two boys from wealthy *Zamindar *families broke into the home of a poor farmer, bound him, carried off his daughter in front of him and then raped her in a nearby field.
