Re: Is courtship suited to our culture ?
firstly courtship is not allowed in islam , and keeping maturity factor aside our culture doesn't approve it too ........reason ??
b/c most of the people in our culture still believe in living in a joint family system , u know parents + kids + grandkids togather , how would someone do courtship like that ??
it's particularly common in west as right from teenage people start to live independently on their own + there's no such interferance from their particular family hence it's easier for them , also another plus for them is the acceptability factor in their society
