There may be reasons for, and against it.

Example:
For it: If the pregnancy will be exceptionally hard on the mother, especially if it’s repeat pregnancy. Medical reason(s) which necessitate such measures.

Against it: Fearing poverty, and for that reason alone avoiding having kids. Because of the ayah in Quran (Surah Hud Ayah number 6): that says Faith will become a major determining factor here.

Yes.

As much as I understand, Islam is not against contraception measures as long as the intention is right. There is a very balanced and logical view in Islam about it.
