I am getting my hands on this laptop for 25000 PKR. It is obviously secondhand. Question is, is it worth it? I cannot find comparable prices on the internet since it is an old model. Can some computer whiz please help me out? Can you tell me if I need to haggle more or the price is ok? It seems to be in good shape.

will be buying a newer model in december. this is more of a donkey laptop for the time being and is to be used for grunt work. it looks sleek and nice

plus this one is being bought from relatively expendable money, as long as this computer does its grunt work. can you check to see what used computer prices are for core 2?

Personally, I'd take the plunge at 15k tops, and that too only if it comes nicely dressed with the Core2 T9xxx processor variant. Any more than that and I'd rather walk to hafeez center and get a legit branded (Hp, Dell, Toshiba, Gateway) notebook. It might grunt less with the goodies it has under the hood (compared to what you're being offered here) but it sure wouldn't cost you a fortune when it comes to needing parts for it once it decides to give up the ghost down the road.

Personally I'd stay clear of this. You can buy much better specs in 25k, even 15k would get you a lot. So I'm with Exodus.
