Its true that as per the original set rules it wasnt allowed.
However, "all things considered" I have never stopped anyone from bumping old threads as not that only that it revives an interesting topic but also brings back some of the valuable content thats been the pure asset of GS.
Originally I can understand that there were tons of new threads everyday, even the mods were pushed to keep bringing new content and upto the level that if they dont then they were let go. So to continue the flow of new threads they might have pushed the old threads revival back.
But just like this, I have not been that strict on many such rules which make less sense under present conditions. Adaptability is the key, and alongwith it comes the flexibility.
So go ahead if you want to bump any but then dont feel down when the nostalgia hits back :)
