Or Another Possibility: ** They don't know that flipping the finger is an obscenity and are confusing it as the peace-sign or a cool way to say "hello/goodbye". I watched a Mr. Bean movie, where Mr. Bean goes to the US and stays with an Amreekan family. He's clueless about why people keep flipping the middle finger at each other....so he assumes it's a cool way of saying "goodbye". And on the day that Mr. Bean bids the entire family farewell.....he happily does so with his FINGER......as the family stare at him bewildered from the balcony.

Out of all the fingers on your hand..........why does that lovely finger have to be the "voting finger?" I think the index finger should be the "voting finger". After all, it's more functional, versatile.......and less likely to cause confusion/offense, LOL!
